Snowmobiling in the mountains is amazing, but also, extremely dangerous. Riding alone, or unprepared for unexpected surprises, can cost you your life! Never ride a snowmobile in the mountains without a shovel, or an avalanche beacon. Probs, rope ,water and food are all essential too. Carry warm dry gloves to change into, I always carry a few pairs of gloves. If you buy a beacon, but don’t know how to use it, that won’t help you save your buddy.. Practice makes perfect.  Using an avalanche beacon takes lots of practice to be quick and effective.Going into the mountains, without checking the avalanche danger, is also not recommended.Knowing what the weather is expected to do, is also very important. Most areas have cabins, find out where they’re at. A warm , dry place can save you if things go bad.
